These two cottages, situated off the market square, are adjacent to Helmsley Beck with the ruins of Helmsley Castle behind. They are stonebuilt in traditional North Yorkshire style with plenty of character. At the rear they share a sunny patio and large lawned garden. Both cottages were updated throughout at the begining of 2012 in a contemporary yet comfortable manner.

Osbourne Cottage *** Newly refurbished - April 2012 ***
Sleeps 8 adults, 2 doubles & 2 twins. This larger cottage has an upstairs bathroom plus a downstairs shower room. The fully equiped kitchen diner seats 8 people comfortably. The sitting room has a beamed ceiling with a large stone open fire place & LCD TV.

Orchard Cottage *** Newly refurbished - January 2012 ***
Sleeps 2 adults & 2 children, 1 double & 1 bunk bed. This pretty little cottage is off the road and opens onto the patio. The upstairs sitting room has a beamed ceiling, open fire & LCD TV.
The cottage has private parking.

Home Comforts… Full central heating, free logs, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer (Osbourne only). TV & DVD. Towels provided, cot available (cot linen not provided), high chair, garden furniture. Sorry, no pets. The cottages are ready after 3pm on the first day of your holiday.
Please call at Nice Things Gift Shop in the Market Place for a personal welcome and your keys. Arrangements can be made if you expect to arrive after shop hours.
